Literature Review: Take 1

I finally have an introduction to my literature review, leading into my three focus areas. Does anyone know if we are supposed to directly tie in our project throughout the literature review? Or do we save that discussion for another chapter? Any advice would be apprecaited :)

  1. Your literature review shouldn't really mention your project so much as the literature review should inform and influence your project.

In other words, you know the topic at this point, but not the actual project. So you should discuss the literature review findings in terms of the topic of your project more than the actual project you create.

    I hope that makes sense!

  2. That makes sense, thanks! Also, Heidi, I took your advice and have a big ol' binder with all my lit reviews in it! I didn't anticipate finding them and reading them to take so long, but the outline is starting to be discovered from my reading.

I even got to play with micro fiche the other day at the library. I guess we can always go old school when it comes to research!
